Free electronics drop-off
Got old computers, laptops, game consoles or stereo gear taking up space? Drop them off for free. Whatever can be fixed gets reused, and the rest gets recycled.
Taken
- Computers, laptops, tablets, hard drives
- Game consoles, controllers and games
- Stereos, receivers, speakers, DVD players, VCRs
- Cables, chargers, keyboards, mice, routers
- Pretty much anything with a circuit board that fits in a car
Not taken
Old tube (CRT) TVs and monitors, big flat-screen TVs, microwaves and other appliances, and swollen or leaking batteries. Those cost money to dispose of safely. Your county's recycling program or an electronics recycler can take them.
Your data
Every hard drive and computer gets wiped before anything else happens to it. If you'd rather keep your drive or watch me destroy it, just say so when you drop off.
How to drop off
Send a message with what you have to set up a time. For a bigger load around St. Cloud, ask about pickup.
Tell me what's broken
What is it and what's it doing? A photo helps. You'll usually hear back the same day with whether it can be fixed and what it'll cost. If it can't be fixed, you don't pay for the repair.
