Computer and laptop repair in St. Cloud
Most computer problems are quicker and cheaper to fix than people expect. Tell me what it's doing and I'll tell you what I think is wrong before you hand it over.
What I do
- Slow computers. Usually an old hard drive, not enough RAM, or junk running at startup. An SSD upgrade makes most older machines feel new.
- Virus and malware cleanup, and browser popups that won't go away
- Windows reinstalls, keeping your files
- Moving everything from your old computer to a new one
- Laptop screens, batteries, keyboards, charging ports and hinges
- Laptops and desktops that won't turn on. This is where board-level repair comes in, and it's often fixable when a shop says it isn't.
- Setting up a new computer or printer
Data recovery
If your computer won't boot or the drive still spins, I can usually get your files off it. If the drive is clicking, grinding or not detected at all, it needs a clean-room lab. I don't open drives, and I'll tell you that up front instead of making it worse.
Macs
I work on Macs and MacBooks too. Newer ones have a lot soldered to the board, so tell me the model and I'll be honest about what's possible.
Tell me what's broken
Send me what it is and what it's doing. A photo helps. I'll get back to you, usually the same day, with whether I can fix it and what it'll cost. If I can't fix it, you don't pay anything.
